Bill Dambrova (born 1971) is a native Arizonan and ASU graduate with a BA in Studio Art. His love of art, artifacts and biology lead to a career as an exhibition designer specializing in Natural History Museums, Zoos, and Aquariums. Bill has shown artwork in local as well as national galleries and museums, and has created site specific works at several art environments including Burning Man, East Jesus, and Meow Wolf. His work can be found in the public collections of institutions such as The Tucson Museum of Art, The State of New Mexico: Art in Public Places Program, DuPont, Kroger, Kemin Industries, The Phoenix Suns Legacy Partners and many more.
Bill is in the fabrication phase of a brightly colored 6000 square foot terrazzo floor that he designed based on his paintings. The floor will be located in the new Sky Harbor Sky Train Rental Car Return Station in Phoenix, Arizona scheduled to open in 2021.
As a museum exhibition designer his client list includes The Aquarium of the Pacific, The Carnegie Museum of Natural History, J Paul Getty Center, The Los Angeles Zoo, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Navajo Nation Museum, New York Botanical Garden, The San Diego Natural History Museum, Scottsdales’s Museum of the West, and the Smithsonian National Zoological Park to name a few. Bill is currently consulting on a large-scale project about the deep sea for The Monterey Bay Aquarium scheduled to open in 2022.
